At the Event

Our top priority is providing a healthy and safe environment for all our guests and staff. We ask you to be aware of new guidelines and procedures. Please pause to acquaint yourself with these industry-driven standards before attending any event at the Vibrant Arena.


Prohibited Items

  • The Vibrant Arena has a "no bag" policy. Bags will no longer be permitted in the arena, with exception of small clutch purses (5" x 7" by 2"). Clear bags of larger size are not permitted.
  • Small diaper bags are permitted when entering with a child age 3 and younger.
  • Outside food and beverage, including water, may not be brought into the Vibrant Arena.
  • Laser pointers, cans, bottles, knives, weapons, explosives, fireworks, and any materials deemed harmful are not permitted within the Vibrant Arena. 
  • Cameras with detachable lenses and selfie sticks are prohibited.
  • Pets or animals (with exception of service animals), beach balls, frisbees, helium balloons, and noisemakers deemed inappropriate to the event.
  • In accordance with the Illinois Firearm Concealed Carry Act (430ILCS 66/65), no firearms are permitted within the Vibrant Arena.
  • The Vibrant Arena is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is allowed on our exterior terraces only. Electronic cigarettes may not be used within the venue.


Security Checkpoints Entering the Venue

  • All guests must enter the building using walk-through metal detector devices (magnetometers) similar to those used in airports.
  • Guests will be required to remove hats and empty pockets prior to passing through the magnetometers.
  • The Vibrant Arena reserves the right to refuse admission to ticketholders who refuse to allow inspection of their persons and any items desired to bring into the facility.
  • The Vibrant Arena continues to maintain a no re-entry policy.  Guests who leave the venue for any reason will not be allowed to re-enter the facility.


Parking, Food, Beverage, and Vending... CASHLESS!

  • The Vibrant Arena parking lot attendants only accept credit and debit cards. No cash is accepted for admittance into the parking lot.
  • The Vibrant Arena concession and merchandise stands accept only credit and debit cards. No cash is accepted for food, beverage, and retail purchases.
  • Guests holding cash may purchase gift cards at designated locations within the venue to use at vending locations.
  • The Vibrant Arena Box Office does accept cash, debit cards, and credit cards for ticket purchases.
  • Guests wishing to purchase, possess, or consume alcohol must be 21 years of age or older and must have a valid ID with them at all times.
  • Concessions ordering is available at the Vibrant Arena using our new Mobile Express platform. Scan a QR Code, submit your order and secure payment information, then receive an alert on your device when your order is ready for pick-up. Skip that concourse line!
  • Depending on the event, some concession locations may feature "grab-n-go" options.


Enhanced Arena Cleaning

Enhanced cleaning and disinfecting protocols are implemented for all events in accordance with CDC, state, and local guidelines. At every event or game:


  • Prior to door time, seats and touchpoints will be sanitized with specialized disinfecting equipment and electrostatic sprayers. 
  • Our staff will demonstrate increased frequency of cleaning.
  • Automated hand sanitation stations are located throughout the facility.
  • Dining and hospitality spaces are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before, during, and after events.


Assumption of Risk

  • An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 and communicable disease exists in any public place where people are present. Any interaction in any public place poses an elevated risk of being exposed to these diseases.
  • The Vibrant Arena cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed during your visit.
  • By attending an event at The Vibrant Arena, you assume all risks, hazards, and dangers arising from, or relating in any way to, the risk coming in contact with communicable disease or illness, including COVID-19, or a bacteria, virus, or any pathogens capable of causing a communicable disease or illness, whether occurring before, during, or after the event, however, caused or contracted, and voluntarily waive all claims and potential claims against The Vibrant Arena, the event promoters, sponsors, operators, contractors, agencies, advertisers, and/or vendors, and each of their affiliated companies.


GBAC STAR™ Accreditation

  • The Vibrant Arena has achieved Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC) STAR™ accreditation, the gold standard for prepared facilities. Under the guidance of GBAC, a division of ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, the Vibrant Arena has implemented the most stringent protocols for cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention in its facility.
  • To achieve GBAC STAR™ accreditation, the Vibrant Arena was required to demonstrate compliance with the program's 20 core elements, which range from standard operating procedures and risk assessment strategies to personal protective equipment and emergency preparedness and response measures.
