Special Needs Accommodations

The Vibrant Arena takes pride in assisting guests with special needs. Since opening in 1993, we have many letters from guests expressing how pleased they were to be able to come and enjoy events which they had been unable to attend before. Special needs seating is available for all events at the Vibrant Arena, but it is available on a first-come, first-served basis and so, we encourage you to act as soon as you know you'll attend an event. Your best assistance is planning well in advance.


While you can purchase accessible seats through TicketMaster outlets or telephone services, we recommend that you call or visit the Vibrant Arena box office for your special needs tickets. Our box office staff possess the most knowledge and familiarity of the arena to assist in accommodating special needs. We encourage you to stop by the box office, or call (309) 764-2000. A valid credit card is required and a $5.00 handling fee per ticket applies to all phone orders. (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are accepted.)


Mobility Needs

For persons using wheelchairs or other mobility devices, there are protected alcoves adjacent to the suites on the concourse level of the arena between the lower and upper bowls. One guest is welcome to accompany the person using alcove seating.


For guests who are uncomfortable with large quantities of steps, we recommend seating on the aisles of row 20 of the lower bowl. Access to these seats requires three small steps (with handrails).


The facility's elevator moves between the entry level (main floor) and concourse level only. The elevator opens onto the concourse just outside of section 105. Guests with mobility concerns are NOT encouraged to purchase seats in the upper bowl.


Parking

The Vibrant Arena has 43 handicapped parking spaces available on an event night. We also have an easily accessible drop-off lane to let your party off near the building.


Hearing Impairments

The Vibrant Arena does have phonic devices to assist guests with hearing impairments. They may be picked up at Guest Services on the night of the event. The Vibrant Arena can also attempt to arrange for an interpreter, if needed. Please contact the Vibrant Arena box office as soon as possible (preferably at the time tickets go on-sale) and no later than 72 hours prior to the event.


Visual Impairments

Arrangements to accommodate visual impairments may be made for some events through the Vibrant Arena box office. Contact the box office regarding questions, concerns, and requests for visually impaired seating.
